Job Description
The Manufacturing Technician – Intermediate is responsible for assembling and testing manufactured products to ensure they are functioning correctly and free of defects before use internally or in the market. This role involves physical labor, operating various tools, connecting sub‑assemblies and components to configure a fully completed product, and inspecting, testing, debugging, and preparing items for shipment. The Manufacturing Technician – Intermediate is accountable for the efficient production of products following established procedures and adhering to all safety protocols and workplace policies.
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
- Mechanically assemble components for contamination monitors, computers and detectors.
- Monitor and maintain all safety equipment and tools.
- Ability to test various components using computer programs.
- Ability to understand block diagrams and drawings.
