Overview
Atlantic Towing is seeking a Vessel Superintendent to join our team in Saint John, NB. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Ports & Coastal and provide leadership to our fleet of tugboats, maintain first‑class customer responsiveness, and adhere to the organization’s safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and organize in your area of responsibility in accordance with statutory, regulatory, and classification society requirements, while adhering to company policies and commercial commitments.
- Monitor the execution of planned maintenance programs on board the vessels through review of routine ship reports.
- Work closely with other ATL departments to develop vessel crew to maximize their potential.
- Lead health and safety for your area of responsibility, including participating in accident/incident investigations.
