Math and Science Teacher
Job Description
Johnathan Academy is seeking experienced British Columbia-certified teachers in mathematics and science courses. Candidates must have demonstrated success in Pre-Calculus 11, Calculus 12, Chemistry or Physics.
Required qualifications
- A British Columbia teaching certification or in process
- A high proficiency in English
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Certification to teach in another province will be considered if the applicant has begun the process of applying to the BC Ministry of Education’s Teacher Certification Branch.
- Applicants without a Canadian teaching certification are not eligible to apply.
Also preferred
- Familiarity with AP, IB and SAT programs
