Position Overview
Mechanical Designer – responsible for design and optimization of layout for heavy industrial projects across mining, metals, and industrial infrastructure systems. The role will be located in a Canadian office, with preference for a Northern Ontario office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare 3‑D models and layout general arrangements for existing plant upgrades and new facilities.
- Prepare process flow diagrams.
- Prepare design sketches.
- Prepare design calculations and design briefs.
- Prepare standard details.
- Prepare trade‑off studies and reports.
- Assist in checking vendor documentation.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure timely and accurate flow of design information while maintaining departmental and client standards.
