Our best-in-class Electric Rotating Machines Engineering team develops a wide variety of products for rail, off‑high‑way and drill applications. In this role, the Lead Mechanical Engineer will work with a cross‑functional team to design and develop electric machines and maintain existing products.
How will you make a difference?As a member of the Electric Rotating Machines team, you will be responsible for design, testing, application studies, field support, manufacturing support, and innovation on a variety of machine topologies. You will train under experienced engineers on application specifics, work within defined parameters to make decisions and apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity while resolving issues through immediate action or short‑term planning. You will be responsible for motors and alternator mechanical design and work with cross‑functional teams to meet assigned objectives.
