Job Overview

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a Millwright / Machinist for its Maintenance/Repair Machine Shop located at Sir Adam Beck Generating Station in Niagara Falls, ON. The role reports to the Machine Shop Mechanical Supervisor and focuses on precision machining, in‑situ machining, mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and fabrication to support protected and reliable plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Boring Mill, Mill, Lathe, Vertical Lathe, Radial Arm Drill, Surface Grinder, Line Boring Machine, and CNC Mill and Lathes to fabricate and manufacture parts and equipment such as pins, bushings, shafts, wheels, guide, and thrust bearings.
• Prepare mechanical and civil design sketches, drawings, and bills of material.
• Support project teams during unit refurbishment and major maintenance activities, including custom machining and fitting.
