Position Overview
In this role, you will support daily medical office operations by managing patient scheduling, handling authorization requests, and maintaining accurate patient records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling both inbound and outbound calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to providers and members regarding authorization status
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments
- Create and maintain accurate patient charts
- Collect patient information for health assessments over the phone
- Maintain organized and up-to-date patient databases
- Handle patient situations professionally and proactively
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in U.S. medical accounts or healthcare administration
