Medical Radiation Technologist (Casual)
The Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) is responsible for operating and maintaining all radiology equipment, performing a range of standard radiological examinations, including fluoroscopy, and preparing patients for these procedures. They ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images for physician review while also managing the care and upkeep of the radiology equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the radiology equipment and auxiliary equipment function correctly and are maintained properly.
- Follow documented safe operating procedures for the equipment.
