General Summary
Implementing various activities in the EAF/LRF to ensure smooth melting and refining
activities as per production requirement
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Carries out Melter duties assigned by the supervisor according to production
requirements
To ensure sufficient availability of Melter machinery, consumables and tools required
for smooth running of the furnace
Ensure that the hot repairs of the furnace are done with utmost care and as per the
work instruction and guidance given by the supervisor.
In case of any abnormalities observed during execution of work, inform the supervisor
and seek guidance for Health Safety implementation
Ensures that all safeties in the furnace and ladle furnace are working and abides by
the company HSE policy to confirm to safety regulations.
