Part Time (60 Hours/ Biweekly)
Shift: Day/Evening
Saturday/Sunday (8a-8p)
One 6 hour day or evening shift during the week.
Rotating holiday call (8a-10p)
**General Summary**
Performs routine and special magnetic resonance imaging procedures. Performs procedures to produce MR images of designated anatomical areas according to established practices and procedures. Performs duties as on call technologist, is able to train new staff, and has passed the MRI advanced level specialty exam as per ARRT.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Performs MR imaging studies; obtains patient history; explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns.
+ Under the direct supervision of the physician, administers intravenous contrast media. Recognizes complications (e.g., contrast reaction) and treats appropriately.
+ Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.
+ Positions and transfers patients comfortably....
