Job Description
Senior Claims Examiner – responsible for handling, evaluating, reserving and resolving multi‑line claims, primarily focusing on commercial property claims (subscription policies) within the Temple Claims department.
Responsibilities
- Confirmation and interpretation of coverage under applicable insurance contracts including identifying coverage issues, protecting Temple's rights and resolution of coverage issues.
- Ensure all correspondence is completed in a timely and effective manner including the creation of Critical Path Letters, Proof of Losses, and Reservation of Rights letters, etc.
- Ensure claims are investigated, managed and assessed promptly and professionally including determination of potential and ultimate loss exposures, probable ultimate cost reserving, and managing claims to an appropriate conclusion.
