Job Profile
Provide sales support for the production of new business and manage the servicing of key accounts assigned.Manage and lead the Logistics Insurance department with day to day activities:Handle marketing strategy and/or marketing of new and renewal business submissions.Ensure departmental accuracy and responsiveness to clients and producer requests.Follow quality control procedures and promptly correct any items uncovered by quality control audits.Adhere to underwriting guidelines and maintain positive underwriting results under the MRSL Marine Binder.Train and develop the department account managers and technicians.Maintain relationships with insurance markets and coordinate efforts as needed on agency contracts, profit sharing agreements and increased underwriting authority of the agency.Handle direct sales for house accounts and call-ins as appropriate.Prepare employee evaluations and recommend salary adjustments.
