Responsibilities
- Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations
- Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
- Participate in ongoing Disaster Recovery project to upgrade current DR systems
- Prepare documentations and specifications
- Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
- Support movement of data for QA and UAT purposes.
- Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Assists the development team with all aspects of software design and T‑SQL coding.
