Job Description
We are a family in Whitby looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced caregiver to provide occasional support for our toddler. Our goal is to find someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and can become a trusted and dependable part of our family’s support system.
The ideal candidate is patient, nurturing, responsible, and experienced in toddler care. We are particularly interested in candidates with an Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification or similar childcare training, although relevant hands-on experience with toddlers is equally important.
Responsibilities may include:
● Engaging our toddler in age-appropriate play, learning, and developmental activities
● Supervising meals and snacks
● Assisting with daily routines, including naps when needed
● Ensuring a safe, positive, and nurturing environment
● Light tidying related to childcare activities
