Job Description
Network Security and Support Administrator – IS/IT POSITION SUMMARY:
The Network Security and Support Administrator/ Specialist is required to support & maintain the hospital’s network security infrastructure.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with customers (physicians, nurses, pharmacists, facilities, admin staff, etc.) and fellow tech team members to provide support for new initiatives and maintain systems to enhance patient care, increase operational efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
Support of network security environments includes management of network security system resources, risk management, security compliance, vulnerability scanning, patching upgrades, multivendor firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, network design and architecture problem analysis, network troubleshooting and network maintenance.
Facilitate appropriate cabling (fiber and/or copper) to connected devices.
