Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Specialist in Canada to design, install, and maintain IT network infrastructure across multiple sites, ensuring reliability, security, and high performance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and install new network systems including hardware and software.
- Perform routine maintenance, schedule updates, and execute upgrades to keep systems at peak performance.
- Implement and manage network security measures (firewalls, access controls, encryption) to protect against cyber threats and maintain compliance with NIST 800-171.
- Utilize SIEM tools such as Splunk for anomaly detection, packet analysis, and rapid mitigation.
- Configure and maintain firewalls with Integrated IPS and AMP, manage secure network access via Cisco ISE or similar.
- Extend on‑premises networks to cloud environments while ensuring scalability and security.
