This position is responsible for the timely and accurate settlement of financial products for Merrill Lynch Canada Inc. The department is responsible for the settlement of all fixed income and equity products.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in relation to data processed in the area
- Participate in the daily activities of the settlements area
- Work with colleagues to manage data in 'spreadsheet' type applications
- Work with the department to identify opportunities to make processing flows more efficient
- Create, document, and implement technical solutions
- Problem resolution: Identify, investigate and devise corrective action
- Work well under pressure with daily deadlines
