Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager in a our hotel based in Amboseli. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily hotel operations, managing resources, improving operational processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across all operational functions.
You will be responsible for:
- Setting operational standards, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Managing budgets, costs control, and improve overall hotel profitability. You will work closely with on-site hotel management teams, providing guidance and support to
- Ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery
- Developing and implementing strategic operational plans, monitoring financial performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Developing and executing marketing and sales strategies to enhance the hotel's market position and attract new clientele.
- Managing resources effectively
- Setting high standards for guest satisfaction
- Implementing robust feedback mechanisms and ensure swift resolution of any guest issues.
- Supporting local human resource functions when needed including recruitment, training, and development of hotel staff to foster a culture of excellence and high performance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hotel Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hospitality in senior management
- Proven track record in driving operational improvements
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with Hospitality industry standards and best practices
