Richmond Steel Recycling Ltd. (RSR) is a scrap metal recycling company operating across British Columbia and Alberta, with its head office located on Mitchell Island in Richmond. Our purpose is to create a world without waste by advancing responsible recycling and sustainable practices that help protect the environment.
Job Summary:
The Operations Supervisor is part of a three-person supervisory team responsible for overseeing yard personnel, including machine operators, production staff, and maintenance teams. This role manages daily operations such as equipment maintenance, monthly inspections, and safety compliance.
This is a fully in-person position, with approximately 75% of the work performed outdoors and 25% indoors. The role follows a rotating weekly schedule:
Week 1: Day shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Week 2: Afternoon shift (4:00 PM – 12:30 AM)
