Join KiwiStar Optics to develop, design, manufacture, and test high precision optical components and opto‑mechanical assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Understand relevant skills, processes and equipment for manufacturing high precision optical components.
- Design and manufacture custom tooling for optical component manufacturing.
- Review project instructions, specifications and drawings to plan fabrication and testing of precision optical components and opto‑mechanical assemblies.
- Ensure compliance with specifications.
- Set up, test and measure optical components using metrology and optical testing equipment.
- Accurately interpret and record measurement data and test results.
- Assist in the assembly, integration, alignment and testing of opto‑mechanical assemblies.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance of tools and equipment as required.
