Job Description
**University of Pittsburgh Physicians is hiring a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care) to help support Emergency General Surgery.**
**Hours:** Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with potential remote work (no weekends or on-call!)
**Location:** UPMC Presbyterian Hospital
**Position Specifics:** 50% inpatient setting, 50% outpatient clinic/hospital rounding. This APP will manage patients who received emergency general surgery and require postoperative care. Inpatient general surgery and outpatient clinic experience preferred. This position is newly developed, so collaboration and creativity are encouraged.
**Department Details:** This department focuses on the transition of care from inpatient to outpatient. APP's will see patients before discharge, connect with patients after discharge, and will follow-up with the patient in the outpatient clinic. This comes with the goal to reduce readmission rate....
