Job Description
- Lead full parametric modeling projects in FreeCAD from conception through production-ready deliverables.
- Utilize BIM and IFC to coordinate and document building models, including walls, slabs, and structures.
- Import, export, and validate IFC data to ensure seamless interoperability with other CAD/BIM platforms.
- Develop and manage constrained sketches, parametric model trees, and building components throughout project lifecycles.
- Prepare detailed documentation sets, including technical drawings and model exports in formats such as STEP, STL, DXF, and IFC.
- Articulate modeling strategies, BIM structuring choices, and interoperability considerations clearly in both written documentation and verbal recordings.
Requirements
- Have expert-level proficiency in FreeCAD, demonstrated by a strong portfolio of complex, completed projects.
