- CART 1023 – Construction Site Practices: In this course, students apply industry health and safety practices in the lab. The safe use of cutting and welding tools, and ladders and scaffolds are a principal focus. Hoisting and rigging is introduced. Students learn to readily recognize fall hazards and identify the correct control measures to protect themselves using personal fall prevention systems.
