A leading non‑profit education institution in the Los Angeles area is seeking an experienced and meticulous Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations for faculty, administrative staff, and hourly employees.
Position Summary
- Hybrid position offering flexibility to work remotely while collaborating closely with HR, Finance, and school leadership.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage full-cycle payroll for faculty, administrative and hourly staff.
- Ensure compliance with California labor laws and union/non-union payroll requirements.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and reports.
- Utilize Workday, CalSTRs, and CalPers systems.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience processing full-cycle payroll and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; OR
