Core Responsibilities
- Routine Check-ups: Perform regular well-child exams to check if kids are meeting expected milestones for growth, weight, and behavior.
- Diagnose and Treat: Act as the first point of contact for sick children to diagnose and treat infections, injuries, and illnesses.
- Preventive Care: Administer necessary vaccines and provide wellness education.
- Medical Records: Maintain detailed charts of a child’s health history and prescriptions.
- Specialist Referrals: Direct patients to pediatric specialists (like cardiologists or dermatologists) when advanced care is needed.
