Caretaker Position
Permanent Full-Time Caretaker for Columbia School. Assignment: 8 hours/day effective June 23, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide general care, upkeep, and maintenance of the school and school grounds.
- Perform general janitorial duties: sweep, mop, garbage removal, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Other duties as assigned by the Principal or Caretaker Coordinator, and those listed in the Job Description Facilities: Caretaker.
Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent.
- Take pride in maintaining a clean and operational facility.
- Direct experience in caretaking or ability to work independently and as a team member (considered an asset).
Salary and Benefits
Paid monthly at an hourly rate from $20.16 – $24.06 with vacation time accrued at the applicable rate. Eligible for SSBA Employee Benefits Plan, Municipal Employees' Pension Plan (...
