Personal Support Worker Trainee – Paid Training Program

This 6‑month sponsored training programme provides individuals with the skills and certification required to work as a Personal Support Worker. The program consists of paid workplace experience and a combination of virtual learning, in‑person skills labs, and required placements.
Training & Responsibilities
- Five (5) weeks of paid PSW training at $19.05/hr. Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- After completing the first five weeks, participants are paid to work part‑time in the community while continuing their education.
- Four months of virtual learning with three weeks of in‑person skills labs and required placements.
- Training covers personal care activities, household management and general support.
