A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a 200-bed hospital in Tucson, AZ. This role focuses on enhancing patient care through collaboration, education, and medication safety during the 2nd shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians to optimize drug therapy and dosing decisions.
• Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians about medication use and safety.
• Lead medication safety initiatives and monitoring.
• Review patient profiles to prevent adverse drug reactions and ensure appropriate therapy.
• Prepare IV admixtures, nutritional supplements, and manage narcotic accountability.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with relevant experience in hospital settings.
