Your Opportunity: AHS is seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at Alberta Children’s Hospital. You will work within the full scope of practice to support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in all areas of medication distribution. Responsibilities include coordinating and performing sterile and non‑sterile compounding, final checks of medications, inventory and procurement activities, checking and dispensing patient‑specific medication orders prepared by Pharmacy Assistants and other technicians, preparing and checking repackaged medications, and completing patient BPMHs in a clinical setting. The role also involves mentoring Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians, training new staff, precepting students, and collaborating closely with pharmacists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
