JOB FUNCTIONS
- Evaluations & Assessments: Conduct formal screenings and assessments to determine if a student qualifies for PT as a related service.
- IEP Development: Write measurable goals, objectives, and present levels of performance. Participate in IEP and 504 plan meetings.
- Direct & Indirect Therapy: Provide direct one-on-one or group therapy to improve a student's strength, balance, coordination, and mobility. Provide indirect consultation by adjusting instructional settings or adapting equipment.
- Assistive Equipment: Recommend, configure, and maintain adaptive devices, wheelchairs, and standing or seating positioning devices.
