Planner/Estimator
Reporting to the Planning and Inside Sales Manager, the Planner/Estimator is responsible for the complete cost-effective estimating and planning of jobs, including purchasing materials, to meet customer requirements, company manufacturing capabilities and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision of accurate, timely, cost-effective and efficient planning of manufactured parts.
- Streamline the processes of planning to minimize manufacturing time and costs through efficient process selection, workflow, tooling specification, and any other critical requirements.
- Provide accurate estimation of operation times to enhance shop scheduling and workflow.
- Obtain and provide clear and concise communication of customer, design, and manufacturing specifications and requirements to convey required info and reduce the possibility of errors.
