Job Description
This role provides the opportunity to contribute to the sustainable growth and development of the region through a diverse range of statutory and strategic planning responsibilities. The position works across a broad variety of development types and planning matters while engaging with community members, applicants, consultants, government agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver positive planning outcomes for the region.
Key areas of accountability include:
- Assess and determine development applications and related planning matters in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and best practice planning principles.
- Provide professional planning advice and responsive customer service to applicants, consultants, community members and internal stakeholders regarding development and planning matters.
