The Role
The Plant Buyer is responsible for executing the source-to-pay process to support plant operations through the timely procurement of goods, materials, and services. This role ensures supply continuity, cost competitiveness, supplier performance, and compliance with company policies and operational requirements while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
What You'll Do (Impact Areas)
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including RFQs, sourcing activities, negotiations, purchase order creation, and order tracking.
- Identify, qualify, onboard, and develop suppliers to meet operational and business requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, Incoterms, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
