Overview
About the Role: As the Plant Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing activities and staff in the management of the efficient maintenance of equipment at WM's newest Material Recover Facility (MRF) in North Dumphries.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.
- Ensure that equipment is repaired and returned to service in a safe and timely manner.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and upgrades.
- Maintain CMMS data, parts inventory, and maintenance records.
- Support startup and commissioning of new equipment.
- Train and develop team members to build a culture of accountability, safety and high performance.
