Job Description

Platform Automation Developer to design, develop, and implement production-ready enhancements and automation solutions using Python within a Ruby on Rails platform

6 month contract to start, % remote - preference given to Calgary candidates.

Must have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python for automation and scripting
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails (extending or integrating within an existing codebase)
  • API integration and RESTful services development experience
  • Git proficiency and clean commit practices in shared repositories
  • Baseline understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, routing, firewalls)

    • Nice to have:

  • Experiencetransitioning automation from contractors to internal teams
  • Familiarity with infrastructure or platform automation (network, monitoring, identity, CI/CD)
