The appointees will work for R&D projects under Big Data Institute (BDI). BDI strives to provide a strong and highly visible leadership role in Big Data and Data Science research in Hong Kong and the world by setting up well-known education programs and coordinating and developing cross-institutional and cross-departmental research projects. Currently, BDI is working closely with the related top industrial partners over several topics. The appointees will have the opportunity to participate in the whole product life cycle of research and development.
Specific duties vary according to projects and the applicant’s expertise, including academic research, prototype building, technology productization, project management, as well as BDI activities. Some ongoing projects include:
