What do Pre-Board Screening Officers do?
You will be using your exceptional customer service skills to uphold the safety of passengers and create a positive travel experience by:
- Efficiently screening passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints
- Scanning and testing baggage for prohibited items using X‑ray machines, metal detectors and other technology, along with physical search techniques
- Providing information professionally and with integrity
- Confirming valid boarding passes
- Protecting restricted areas
- Managing conflict
- Communicating clearly and effectively
- Upholding all regulations with vigilance
You will receive paid training $23.01/hour , increasing to $26.07/hour after the completion of training and certification, and annual increases. You’ll also receive comprehensive benefits and a great uniform!
