About The Role
The Principal Mining Outsourcing leads the end-to-end commercial development and execution of outsourcing processes for a major mining project. Reporting to the Manager CCI Infrastructure & Decarbonisation, the Principal owns the commercial case for outsourcing and BOOT‑style (Build‑Own‑Operate‑Transfer) arrangements: framing the opportunity, building the business case, performing economic, financial and commercial valuation, co‑leading negotiations, and recommending improvements that protect and create value.
As an individual contributor of significant commercial depth, the Principal operates with a high degree of autonomy, simplifying complex problems into value drivers and structuring competing pressures into a coherent commercial strategy. They are confident using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models and Value Driver Trees (VDT) and apply these to generate value across sourcing and outsourcing decisions. They work closely wit...
