Job Description
Job Summary
CSA Group is seeking a Technical Expert for Electrical Appliances who will provide senior technical leadership within the Technical Management Department and oversee the support and guidance across all certification offices and network partners worldwide. The role ensures expert technical knowledge, compliance with accreditation requirements, and consistent global services through training and technical oversight.
Responsibilities
- Provide clear, timely technical guidance and solutions; help interpret standards and develop compliance paths for new technologies.
- Build, maintain, and leverage a strong industry network; contribute thought leadership through research and presentations.
- Assist with complex projects, mentor staff, and act as a technical expert in legal investigations related to product incidents.
- Establish and maintain technical benchmarks; ensure global consistency in standards and practices.
