As a Procurement Specialist at Sandvik Mining, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries while tracking orders meticulously. Your analytical skills will help identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining updated records of all purchased products and invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source and negotiate with new and existing suppliers
• Purchase mechanical and electronic parts effectively
• Expedite and track orders for timely delivery
• Perform data analysis to identify cost savings
• Coordinate storage with warehouse staff
Requirements:
• College diploma or University degree preferred
• SCMP designation or 3-5 years purchasing experience
• Experience reading engineering drawings is a plus
