We are looking for a Product Engineer focused on Brake Systems within Vehicle Dynamics, responsible for the development, validation, and performance of braking systems for commercial vehicles (trucks and buses), ensuring compliance with safety, performance, and durability requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate brake systems for trucks and buses, ensuring safety, performance, and durability targets.
- Define brake system architecture and technical requirements considering GVW, payload variation, axle configurations (4x2, 6x2, 6x4, etc.), and trailer operation.
- Perform brake balance studies, torque distribution calculations, and stopping distance simulations for fully loaded and partially loaded conditions.
