Responsibilities This position is located in the Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards (NMSS), Division of Spent Fuel Storage and Transportation (SFST), Storage, Transportation, and Microreactor Licensing Branch (STMLB). STMLB manages and coordinates the safety, security, and environmental reviews and issues initial licenses, renewals, amendments and the certification of storage systems and microreactors under general license provisions per 10 CFR Part 71 and 10 CFR Part 72, and works closely with other programmatic areas, such as Fuel Facilities.
