Project Control Officer – APEX ORDS Evergreening (RQ11212) Land & Resources Cluster

Project Description – ‘APEX/ORDS Evergreening’ – The goal of the APEX/ORDS evergreening initiative is to upgrade the full technical stack for 5 Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks business critical applications. The current suite is built with Oracle database, APEX/ORDS, and Red Hat Linux OS software which are all at end‑of‑life support with the manufacturer. To stay secure and compliant with Ontario’s Digital and Data Strategy, the systems software and hardware technical components must be upgraded – a process known as Evergreening. Cloud hosting is targeted as part of this evergreening.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to project managers and project team, in coordinating, planning, communicating, and executing the delivery of core project components.
• Experience collaborating with various groups to gather updates and maintaining project budgeting, progress reporting, action items, risk management updates, etc.
