The Role
Researches, plans, and coordinates waste collection and diversion projects, programs, and services, including developing options and recommendations for new and revised programs, and coordinating and conducting communications and outreach activities to promote programs and services to the public.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Assists with project planning, research, and development related to waste collection and diversion programs in response to changes in legislation, new or revised programs/services, and service reviews or improvements.
- Analyzes legislation, by‑laws, program data, policies and procedures, and industry trends in environmental and municipal waste management to determine impacts on operations and develop options and recommendations.
