Hays has partnered with a construction manager out of Kitchener, Ontario who are looking to add a Project Manager to the team to focus on high-rise construction projects in the Kitchener, Cambridge, Waterloo area.
Your new role
The open role is for an experienced Project Manager, reporting directly to the Construction Manager. He/She will be responsible for the success of the project and driving the project team from concept to completion. The Project Manager will review project progress with internal teams on a regular basis and ensure that the client is up-to-date on the standing/status of the project. They will review budgets monthly, oversee all project dynamics and maintain and develop a comprehensive construction schedule. Finally, they will chair weekly meetings, including participating in logistics meetings on site and ensure that all contracts, including subcontracts, are completed.
