Clinic Details — Royal Inland Hospital
Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is a 273-bed facility that serves a population of approximately 250,000 and is a tertiary referral centre for the Thompson-Cariboo-Shuswap Health Service Area. RIH offers 24-hour Emergency and Trauma Services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and a comprehensive diagnostic service including a Clinical Neurophysiology Lab, Sleep Lab, 1.5T MRI, two CT scanners, and echocardiography. Stroke thrombolysis and provincial tertiary neuropsychiatry programmes are available, and a six-person High Acuity Response Team operates 24-hour.
Surgical services include general surgery, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, with 24/7 anesthesia coverage.
