Job Description
The Production Assistant is responsible for learning Computer Graphics and Audio, for the purposes of filling in on either position. They are also responsible for moving and arranging set pieces, assisting guests, directing talent, and other studio-related duties.
+ Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Trains on, and is able to competently run, the Xpression graphics program, as well as production audio, during live news broadcasts.
+ Fills in for sick or vacationing coworkers in these two positions when needed.
+ Directs talent from the studio floor when available, including guiding them to the correct shot, and giving them visual time cues.
+ Communicates with Production crew and News talent during broadcasts.
+ Adds and removes set pieces between segments of live broadcasts.
+ Maintains studio cleanliness, including vacuuming and wiping down sets.
+ Assists guests with microphones, equipment, product display...
