Job Overview
Radiation Therapist (SAH) – Temporary, full‑time, days shift. Location: Sault Area Hospital, Sault Ste.Marie. Position duration: March2026 – October2027. Bilingualism required. Police / vulnerable sector background check required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and accurate daily radiation treatments, including patient education, positioning, image verification, and corrective action.
- Consult with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists on treatment plans and dosimetry interpretation.
- Develop computerized treatment plans based on prescriptions and dose limits; perform dose calculations and enter data into the Record & Verify system.
- Perform quality assurance of treatment plans, dose calculations, and technical equipment; initiate corrective action as needed.
