Hello!
Attending Physicians in the Department of Radiology are responsible for the supervision of and interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies obtained within the hospital system. This position is specifically for but not limited to body imaging services including CT, MRI, US and fluoroscopy including all general x-ray (chest/musculoskeletal/spine etc.). Experience must be wide and varied.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school or university.
Licensed physician in the State of Illinois or have the ability to obtain licensure prior to starting employment.
Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency.
If currently in or recently completed fellowship training, passed step I board Examination by the American Board of Radiology. Must become certified after completion of practice requirements stipulated by the ABR or AOBR to maintain recommendation...
