The Rail Access Planner
Responsible for providing strategic guidance that leads to integrated rail access plans and optimised rail access processes, driving for maximum access efficiency and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Providing strategic access planning guidance and support based on industry best practice, knowledge and lessons learned.
- Identifying access plan constraints and developing strategies to alleviate.
- Support all parties to plan, book and utilise appropriate access aligned to associated work activity with maximum efficiency.
- Assessing and determining need for change to access planning processes and methods and implementing changes to deliver improved performance.
- Supporting with deconfliction analysis and implementation.
- Supporting with improving visibility of planned and booked works.
